IHS Mustang Program

Welcome to the IHS Mustang program, where we embrace the beauty and spirit of wild horses to elevate our students' horsemanship skills. Our program offers a comprehensive approach, blending practical gentling techniques with-depth education on horse behavior and care.

 

Students engage in hands-on experiences that teach them about importance of trust and communication with these magnificent animals. Additionally, we emphasize the significance of understanding hoof growth and development, equipping our students with the knowledge to ensure the health and well-being of their equine partners. Adopt

There are over 65,000 mustangs in off-range holding facilities across the USA, eagerly waiting for a home. At our school, we adopt dozens these beautiful horses and provide them with the care deserve. Enrolled students have the opportunity to a mustang if they meet the necessary requirements. Together, we can make difference in the lives of these incredible animals!

Train

At our facility, students have the unique opportunity to train mustangs and develop essential horsemanship skills. This hands-on experience is a crucial component of becoming a successful farrier, as it fosters a deep understanding of horse behavior and care.
